I submit for your inspection one Gregory House: medical genius, head of diagnostics, (once a) vicodin addict, and a narcissist who choose only one case per week according to what interests him. His cunning and biting wit balances his cold calculations of patients as he diagnose them of their illnesses.
For book lovers it would be easy to spot Sherlock Holmes in Gregory House. For those who have not heard of Sir Conan Doyle’s most beloved fictional character and best detective of all time, let this be your introduction.
Sherlock Holmes is a consulting detective, great violinist, eccentric, has a lot of out-of-the-way-knowledge, and a regular cocaine user. His capability to observe and deduct is exceptional and his knowledge of chemistry, anatomy, and sensational literature is profound if not accurate. He chooses his cases according to what he think is interesting and is lethargic (mostly due to cocaine as he shoots it in his system to cure boredom) until a case has caught his interest.
Holmes never entertained romantic relationships and has only been interested in Irene Adler as she was the only woman to outsmart him. House does not regal in any romantic relationship and not until season 7 did he became involved with Dr. Cuddy—and who knows what would happen in the next season. But both believe that romanticism could cloud their abilities of deductive reasoning. Holmes can be heard saying so and in the scenes after House and Dr. Cuddy became romantically involved, you would hear House complaining to Wilson that his attraction to Dr. Cuddy makes him a crappy doctor.

I have neglected my food blog for a while and thus, i have a little catching up to do… be nice and give Kitchen Hopping some blog love :) i posted about iChef and the pasta I had with Girlieanne. It was one of the last things I did with her before I left Davao…
I have not gone out much in Hong Kong to do some decent food post from here but will do so this week! I did post about Charlie Brown Cafe here in tumblr a few months ago—oh but did not do a decent post of it in my food blog…well, I only had pancakes…that means, I just have to visit it again! *eskayted much!

That rare moment when I get to take a good photo even when there are no people in it! yey!
I’m bad at landscapes. Out of the hundred clicks, only one is passable (two if I am lucky). I’m good with people, so I stick to taking photos of faces even when I’m out on a vacation! I always envy my friend Olan’s landscape photos. He taught me how to though, it’s just a matter of me really learning it! Olan knows how to capture a place’s essence with his camera. See his travel photos in TravelTeller – and he is giving away TravelTeller shirts for Christmas as well! His way of giving back for all the support his readers gave him. He just recently won Mindanao’s best travel blog!
tumblrbot asked: WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
ice cream and a funny movie always lift my spirits up on a bad day :)
A photo i took in Baseco Community, the day after I was at the House of Rep to hear the president give his first State of the Nation Address. The people there were dressed to the nines. It was obvious they were pampered. So much was spent for that one day affair…while somewhere, someone is trying to survive.

Can you imagine having to fish dinner in the midst of filth? I always remember this when i see people waste food as if no one is starving…
You know what’s the funniest thing in all these? The people in Baseco looked more happy than the pampered elite that I took photos of at HOR. What irony.
Life really knows how to throw a joke.

My jewelry designs (impressions jewelry) got included in Modelo Magazine shoot! Thanks to Maxine Rongquillo. (Photography by patrick B. Segovia)
